Ingrown toenails suck balls

yeah i had one and got it removed today, 4 shots of novacaine (sp?) later and now i have half a toenail and cant ski for a few days,

i have to damn ingrown toenails right now and only one hurts like a bitch but the otherone istn too bad, ive been soaking them in epsom salt but it really hast done anything. i think ill see a doctor very soon but i dont want to be out of soccer for 2 weeks because we just entered playoffs. When soccer is over maybe ill go. they are both pretty bad though, infected, they suck SO much

the toenail sort of grows and pushes into the sides of the toe. hm, sorta hard to explain. you can probably find some pictures online if you really wanted to.

The first time I went to Tremblant for March Break I got one, like, a week before. It ended up with me up at 1 am with an exacto knife, a lighter, and some numbing cream diggin that shit out. Hurt like fuck, but I got to ride all week

I cut my nails, and then decided to run. I guess I had a leftover hanger-on on the right side of one of my big toes. After two more days of running, it was angry, swollen and red. I decided to lance it last night. I got pretty drunk, realized I didnt have a needle, but the pain was so bad I decided to use my knife instead. I gave it a good jab, but I think I kinda missed or something, no pus or anything. So I got drunker, tried again, and this time, just lots and lots of blood and PAIN. A day later, its hard to tell if the swelling has gone down, but now I'm oozing from two self inflicted holes and I STILL CANT WALK.

I'm getting a hypodermic needle from my lab and a handle of jack on the way home and am going to try it again.

no you know what really sucks? racing dirtbike and having your foot get crushed between a tree and your bike.  it pretty much equals toe anihilation.

three broken toes, two nails ripped completely off, surgery to sew the middle toe back on at the tip, it cut all the nerves in two toes so no more feeling in them, the tin foil is to keep my nail-bed open so my new nail will grow back in, and the 4th toe is the old nail, they sewed it back on to hold the nail-bed open until the new nail grows back.


hope the picture works, i havent had to do that in a while haha

I remember the last time I had one (I've had like 3 total) I could take a needle, and stab it under my nail (like, the worst pain imaginable in any other circumstance) and it didnt hurt at all. It just slid in, the needle sunk a good inch or so in, didnt hurt, didnt do anything. No idea what was going on!
