you cant call a spin with no grab by the degrees of rotation. if there is a grab, you could call it 1260 mute, but with no grab, the spin can only be referred to as helicopters. thus, simon may have done a three'anda'half heli, but i wasnt there to see.
seriously, if a trick is style-less, why would it earn any points? should count as a crash, or hands down on the landing...
completley correct... which is why tanner winnning x games despite not grabbing on his cab 10 is not outrageous... but i personally think the fact that simon didnt try and grab on his last 3 hits. not tried and missed. didnt try... im not a fan. and looking at the pic from ski tour, he wasnt trying again...
actually peter grabbed more than either tanner or simon. he didnt grab in the double, and i think he missed his grab in his right 5, but he tried. every other trick he grabbed, including his 10...
completly agree every one wants simon to win but mybe if ou saw matt hayward was grabbing his 12 plus simon wasn't even trying to look like he was trying to grab it was past spin to win...and i hate how every one over looks hatviet i pretty sure right 10 to sw 9 is way more legit ... at least in my book
haha for some reason i thought we were talking about x games. but that was me being retarted since the thread title says ski tour breck hahaha i hadnt seen that video, thanks for the link. but still in that... it looked like he didnt grab his right 5 or 10 at the bottom... but every other hit, including the double, he grabbed... and he tried to grab in every hit. peter should have beat tanner in that, hands down... so should andreas... does anybody have simons run or charlie lassers?
tanner shouldnt have placed shoulda gone simon peter andreas they are getting beat out this year. kinda odd cause they have a lot more skill than tanner in my opinion.
thats what I want to know? I thought it was just east coast kids. Im surprised west coast kids even like him.
Unfortunatly im one of the eastcoasters who ski'd SR when dumont did, and he was such a prick to everyone. Personally I feel hes over-rated and I'de hate to think Dumont's the most popular out of the East.!....
Simon or Peter should have won, with the other getting a close 2nd. You could hear the whole crowd boo from the top of the pipe when both of their scores were announced lower scores than Tanner's. Andreas should have gotten third, his run was super technical, but it was lacking amplitude for sure. If Andreas can learn how to boost more out of the pipe he is going to kill every comp. Tanner should have been 4th at best. His sw 7 was sick, then he went into a 5 which he almost fell on. To me that doesnt deserve a 91 or 25g's.
The comp went a lot more smooth than expected. The pipe was shitty as was the weather. So props to the skiers for throwin down in bad conditions.
no grabs is where its at......according to skiing. andreas got robbed......again. and peter dropping in? he should probably get -5 for how retarded he dropped in. who does that?
simon dublalala got robbed?? thats cray talk, thats like saying a lizard can fart and fly to space, but i am simon dumont and ifu post something about me again, i will penetrate your mouth
