Wondering if anyone had some input for me as to where I should have my bacons mounted. Right now I'm thinking just going with midsole. thanks

Mount them at the reccomended point... I think it's something like 22-25mm back from center

The mid-sole line is the suggested line, 2cm back from center. It's where I mounted mine.

it IS the recommended line, though it's at 2.5 cm back, not 2, so just mount at recommended

I measured mine out.. and recommended is actually more like 5 cm back from true center. However, I am quite positive that the -2.5 cm that line states is back from core center. I mounted mine at recommended and was skeptical at first, but they ride amazing.
So another vote for recommended. Maybe +1.. but thats it.

I mounted mine 2 cm forward from the midsole mark. i love where they're mounted its perfect for charging forward and switch and is like the same as mounting lizzies at their midsole mark in terms of ratio of tip to tail.

I e-mailed Levinthal at Line, and he says Eric mounts his at the midsole mark, that's why they put the line there... That's where I'm mounting mine

your an idiot, a ski as specific as the bacons designed by pollard is going to have the recommended line in the perfect spot to ride them. thats why its recommended.

And notice that it's not 'recommended' it just says 'midsole'...they don't give you options on where too mount, for just that reason.

loving mine at recommended. float like a boat in powder, but still good switch, although not as good as my lizzies

Aside from getting used to how soft the tails are (and not looping out any more) Im loving mine at recommended.

I change my stance on this after riding recommended for a year. I'd go center or 1 back... soo +2.5 or +1.5 from rec. Although its not much, I think I would have liked them better there.
All times are Eastern (-5)
