Helmet customization

I just purchased my first helmet, a Bern G, and I was wondering what, if anything, people do to customize their helmets for fit/warmth. The Bern comes with an interchangeable ear cover but I don't really like it. I'm thinking maybe I can wear a headband or something for my ears. idk, just looking for ideas. thanks

if you can knit, its SUPER easy to make your own earflaps. i have 2 for my nine i made, they velcro in, and look ALOT cooler than the stock ones, and are way wamer. you can make your own tuneups that way too.
