Solitude does not have a park that counts, but the pow and terrain is sooo sick. No one is ever there you will love it. The down side is they do not have too much pow right now, it hasnt been a super Utah season lately. The most youl find in the way of jibs are trees or rocks in the woods. Youull have fun though for sure. Just ask a shop guy what to rent at the time.

solitude is one of my favorite mountains. you can go a week after a big storm and still be skiing untracked lines...inbounds, it does get to feel a little bit small if your there for say a week, only skiing in bounds, but its still really fun, and yeah just rent skis there

You dont have to rent skis. I took my fujatives to Utah and it was just fine. The entire cottonwood canyon areas is nice and make sure to hit up all 4 mountains. Brighton is known for their terrain park of the 4 and also isnt very crowded. Its also partly a beginners mountain so a lot of stuff isnt tracked out very fast. solitude has been described. Alta you definitely have to go to. The terrain there is awesome, cant really be described awesome. No terrain park, maybe a couple of rails setup but nothing much. Definitely go there, skiiers only. Snowbird is also a place you have to hit up. Lots of terrain and also a semi-decent park. Have fun in Utah.

thank cuz i was questioning the pow there cuz the no park made it seem very family oriented and that there wouldnt be much to play around on like cliffs and shit..im stoked to hear that its aweome for pow cuz its going to be my first time out west.. im a powder virgin and it sucks.. i was thinking JPvs Julians, Seths, Guns, Or a volkl to ski there.. are those too powder specific for solitude??
