Whenever I go to hit a jump switch, i never have enough pop to get my spin started (and i suck at prewinding while riding switch). How do I pop? should i pop off my tips or what? thanks
try really using your upper body to begin the rotation and right at the perfect moment(as your at the lip of the jumps) really use your shoulders big time cuz if you use your legs to spin ull catch an edge and eat shit
OR u can eat shit in the process...i would reccomend not doing what he said. if u cant look over the shoulder u spin on...take a couple days and ski switch down trails till ur comfortable. once uve got it try it with the jump. STAGGER YOUR FEET! come up to the side of the lip that is on the same side as ur looking over. as ur on the lip carve to the direction of ur spin (but not drasticly) prewind a bit, enough that u can still see the lip clearly or in the coner of your eye. spin with your shoulders and pop UP not out. and once uve left the lip u can easily guide your way with the spin using ur hips...switch 1 and 3 are incredably easy. good luck, and this is how i learned so it could be diff for u man
when I hit a jump switch, i really dont try to pop. I usually just try to hit it with more speed then I need. I dont even start rotating until I am practically in the air.
