Last summer I had to have a spinal fusion because of some crap wrong with my back. Pre-surgery I had no pain and felt fine, but the doctors said that it was absolutely nessicary to get it. So I get the seven hour surgery and after a week in the hospital one of the screws come out and they have to fix it so im in the hospital for another week. After this Im not allowed to get up for 7 weeks at all. And after 7 weeks you almost have no muscle in your legs so I build up my strength and walk with a walker for about a week and move up to a crutch later. I am finnaly able to walk again but due to nerve damage I can no longer move my left foot outward and often roll my ankle and fall down. That is why surgeries suck.
that blows. my surgery was on my hand and i had to quit skiing early, so i stayed home alone on the weekends instead and just partied and had tons of fun. good times
