had an ipod for a long while and its starting to crap out, so instead of just going out and getting another ipod im exploring my options. ive heard nothin but good things about Creative from all the members on here, and was wondering if anyone has the zen vision:m and how ya like it?

ive looked at it in the store because i wanted one before too but what i found is its very difficult to navigate. like the controls are really unorthodox but if you can master them id say its a fine piece of equipment. longer batterylife, brighter, higher resolution screen..

I got one, after having a ton of trouble with iPods. I would definitely recommend the Creative over an iPod. The screen and image/video quality is superb, and yeah, the battery life is better than the iPod. It feels alot sturdier too, no problems riding with it in my jacket pocket.

The one negative is the software for ripping cd's and uploading mp3's isn't quite as user friendly as iTunes. Apart from that though, no complaints whatsoever.

I got one and it is way better than anything else. Longer battery life, better screen resolution, more customizable, an FM tuner, and better sound quality. The scroll pad in the middle takes a little to get use to but besides that navigation is really easy and the shortcut button really makes stuff a lot easier. You also have a lot more options with the creative to customize your menus, backgrounds, displays, and sounds. It has everything the iPod has and more.
