Break up help--way to dump someone

I figured if there was someone who could help me out they'd definitely be found on NS, arright here's the deal...

This girl Karly has been goin out with this Brett dude for like 4 or 5 months now and she tells me she's getting tired of him and can't find a way to break up with him. Brett claims he loves her a lot and just really likes her a lot. She still like's him but it's just gotten old and there's no excitement anymore. What she wants is to find a way to break up with him in person and not come off like a total bitch and have the opportunity to still be his friend.

So i told her i'd help her out because we got some smart people on NS that can probably think of somethin and you all never seem to let me down, thanks...later

yeah i figured that would be the best idea. that was the thing i initially told her and she wanted to say that but then didn't so i think i should just tell her to go that route because the truth works i guess...

Just have her talk to him and say that things aren't how they used to be and so on. She needs to be pretty honest with him if she still wants to be chill and hang out....but not completely spilling everything cause that might not be good.
it's not as easy as it seems for a girl to dump a guy...especially without being a complete bitch...cause that seems to come naturally.
