My Ipod dificulties

It has the sad face and stuff, already put in a service thing, but I just had to erase my computer and now risk losing 2000 songs and 40 videos unless I can get my Ipod to connect to my computer. Ive tried putting it into disk mode, any helpers please, I am very desperate

well my ipod was fine before my computer was gettin fixed andi t was like for a week. And i was just gonna put it back on after. And how do you back up your music

Keep trying to get it into disk mode.  This happened to me once, and eventually I was able to get it to go, and I used Senuti to get all my music off of it.
