no man, i've checked every possible map..and also the translink website...I found some buses, but they all run really late and secondly they don't get all the way there. Like, I don't mind having to walk all the way there if Ihave to, but if there is another possiblity that would be great.. I just need to know in order to get ready for the hike..So any local who knows tips? pleeeaseeeee

best bet would probably be to bus/sea bus your way to north van and cab from there. I don't know that any bus will get you to the Seymour area by 7:30ish on the weekends, so cabbing from londsdale quay (north van side of seabus) is probably the best bet.
or find somewhere to crash over in the seymour area.

go to translink.bc.ca, trip planner, and try and get to Phibbs exchange (so it will involve taking the 22 downtown and probably one or 2 other buses. From Phibbs exchange (right by the second narrows bridge), there is a community shuttle that goes towards Mt Seymour road, it drops you off by the mall, if anyone knows the name, anyways try Mt Seymour parkway in the trip planner. Once you're there, hitchike, I only waited 5 mins for a ride, it was on a weekend though...
Are you taking your avie one with Canada West Mountain School by the way?

Well I realized you need to be there early, so try and find somebody else taking your course... Or maybe the Seymour shuttle if you haven't checked it out yet.

the #211 goes to Parkgate from downtown. Another convenient bus is the community shuttle to Indian River which you catch at Phibbs Exchange and it goes right down the road to Mount Seymour. Then just hitchhike.
All times are Eastern (-5)
