Great Book I Should Read

What would be a great book similar to Fight Club by chuck palahniuk? I'm looking for a thriller/action packed/mind blowing/make you think book. Alot of these books are a little more "underground" than the books at the school libary, and probably are not on the best seller list because of their obscurity. What would you guys recomend?

Brimstone by Lincold Child and Douglas Preston. Not the smae book at all but fun. If you want an entertaining book that has to do with inner demons and things Fear and Loathing is fun

I haven't read them, but from what I've heard, Chuck Palahniuk basically writes the same kind of book over and over again. Try some other stuff he's written.

i used to read the gunslinger/dark tower series by stephen king, its a long series but very entertaining. its mostly fantasy about a gunslinger tring to get to the dark tower and he meets things along the way.

has anyone heard the chuck pahlanuk (sp?) story about how his asshole/large intestine got pulled out from the pool filter while he was jerking off in the pool? i heard it today on a radio show and i wanna read more of hi storys.

But yeah, I'm a big Palahniuk fan, his books are all really alike, so just read more of them.  I recommend Choke, it's amazing.

I heard him read that and 2 other stories from Haunted before it came out, in person....so ...yeah ridiculous. Wait, they can play that on the radio?!
