Broken lcd screen on video camera

the screen on my panasonic pvgs300 just broke today and i heard its gonna cost a lot of money if i want to get it fixed, should i get it fixed or should i get a new camera? i dont think ill have enough money for a better camera so ill probably just get it fixed, does anyone know how much it would cost to get it fixed?

well, i knoe ebay always has like new LCDs for laptops. maybe they have some for video cameras. see if they have it and then maybe ask a professinal to put it on for you, or just do it yourself.
