Ipod help

Someone help me! Ok heres what happened..aactually i dont really know what happened..but..here..when every i use my shuffle it only plays in one ear bud, but this happenes with every head phone I own, even my skullcandys, so its gotta be the ipod..has this happened to anyone? what should i do?

Contact Apple, if they say its screwed send it in, or just buy a new one.
