Line.... warrenty worthy... help...advice

yeah i had the same problem with my mo ships except i had major edge crackage so no luck on the warrenty. But just take them into your local shop and they usually can tell you if they are warrenty worthy and send them in for you

it all depends if the shop decides if it is from an impact or not. usually on something like that, especially considering that its on a major flex point, you could be screwed. I'm dealing with the same thing right now. Usually line is pretty chill about warranty though...

This is why you buy skis from a local shop, so that when you have problems, people can fix them.

Whatever course of action you take, keep a level head and remember to be nice to people. That will take you many places.

buying skis from shops is to expensive.. moships would've been like 599.99$ at all of the shops around me... oh yeah i always remember to say my pleases and thank you's and sometimes throw in a 6 pack if im really feeling generous... those beers will work wonders

A couple things.

First of all, REI has a sweet customer satisfaction policy. If you're not 100% satisfied, you can return the item. I've actually used this on ski boots that packed out in two days. If you go to their flagship store in downtown Seattle, you can buy this returned stuff at huge discounts. (BTW, there was a set of 174 Salomon Guns - one ski undrilled, the other was missdrilled for cheap). REI should be able to warranty your ski as long as you have a copy of your receipt. Just give customer service a call and they can sort it out.

Line warranty is usually pretty good. REI will send your ski into Line and then they will determine if it will be covered under warranty. Your ski definately looks like a warranty issue since there are no impact marks. Just make sure you keep on REI. If there are no replacements available (and there probably won't be since they no longer make Motherships) REI will get a credit. Most of the time, REI will then credit what you paid for the skis so that you can get something else from them. If there are replacements available, then Line will directly ship you a pair of skis.

I went through a similar process with Evogear on a set of Invaders.

you can bring anything youve boughten at rei and return it for credit/cash. its pretty sick.

yea ive only heard good things about lines warrenty so you shouldnt have any probs,but u should return to rei then get bacons

the thing is i bought them for dirt cheap like 225$ and rei has skis listed for full retail right now... so im thinking of sending them to line... if i send my skis in around the end of the year would it be possible for me to get some anthems next year... or what? probably going to go the line warrenty route

They will probably tell you what skis you can pick to replace them, LINE has been known to offer any ski in the line-up for warranty replacements though, so who knows.

if so def next years anthems... probably warrenty them around the end of the season
