so i am looking at skis for next year, and i am 5'5" now and 115 pounds. but i am not gonna get these for a couple months and won't use them till next year. so i am looking at getting some 05/06 Armada ARVs off ebay, or some Line Motherships. I ski 80% all mountain, 20% park. any suggestions but i want it to be a twin tip. and i am looking at getting this years Nordica Supercharger Igntions. i can get those for 300. any suggestions?
Ignition is a great allmtnski. Not to prefer on a pow day, but you can never get a ski that is great everywhere... It's also pretty stiff, kind of GS ski, so I hope youre pretty strong or have a good technique.
ARV's are good all mountain skis. Go 165 for sure, and mount them reccomended. Both the Mojos and the Ignition are stiffer skis and probably wouldn't be good for your weight. Maybe look at the seth too.
i am also looking at some 4FRNT MSP's in 160. anything else i should be looking at. i am gaining weight right now and hope to gain alot by next season when i would be riding the skis.
Don't gain weight just to move up to your lust-affair ski. Softer skis will almost always be better in park, so unless you go on a fat trip and gain 100lbs, there's no use in buying a ski that's not good for your height/weight just because you lust over it like the hot girl at school.
Also check out the Salomon 1080 Foil or Gun. The Gun's better all mountain, and both do pretty good in the park. Both these skis would be good in terms of flex for your weight. Check out the foil in a 158cm or 166cm, or the gun in the 164 length.
