I thiiiiiiiiink I saw a pic of some of those reverse camber park skis from k2 at the xgames.
Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen I saw andy mahre in the air, and I noticed that they sure look pretty windmill up there... theres no way a 50 foot jump gap has enough wind shear to push back skis that much, are they out there or am i just seeing things?

Andy and Pep were both riding K2 Hellbents for the X Games slopestyle. I don't think they're actually "reverse camber" skis per se, but rather the tips and tails are rockered (bent up, basically) for skiing pow.

The boys were claiming that they were great in the park, but after watching them skid out all over the place, I'm not buying it.

i think they might have ment great for buttering and shit...i would deff think u would be washing around on landings and stuff

Reverse Camber:the entire ski is curved, like a surf board [spatula...]

Rocker: no camber underfoot, reverse camber in tips and tails.[hellbents, ARG...]

Dual-Camber:regular camber underfoot, reverse camber in tip and tails [prajekt, possibly 08 EP Pros]

so by that definition, the hellbents have no camber under the foot. i can see that as fine in pow, my local armada rep reckons the arg's fucking kill.
but wouldnt dual camber be better in park, otherwise you get no pop on takeoffs.

has to be said tho, peps description sounded pretty dope.
