Scott P3 Question

So I hear these skis kill it... Im trying to decide between the 184 and 176. I ride 181's now but Im not really looking to get into a longer ski.

So my question is: Does anybody know if these are a true 184cm ski or does Scott just use different measurements like some other companies. Also anybody know if these are bombproof or not?

They come in 178 & 184's
I ride the 178's mounted +2 (which I think is about 3-4cm back from true center)
Anyway, I'm 5'8" 165lbs and wish I went with the 184's. (but that's just personal preference)
They do rip hard, but mounting forward does lose some of it's all mountain ability.
I can easily overpower the tip in agressive turns, but it does make it pretty fun for buttering.

As for size, I think they run pretty true, they look to be about 3cm longer than my 175cm Salomon 2v LAB's...

^Thanks... 184 just seems really long, I have trouble lipping high urban setups with my 181's and I really dont want to make it any harder... But if you over power the 178 at your height I'm 6'1 so 184 should be the skis for me... How do the edges hold up by the way?

Haven't been on many rails, so can't really comment on edge durability, seems like a real solid ski though.
I'm on the east coast and my park isn't opening until wed...
(yeah, pretty shitty season so far)

So keep in mind, my review is based mostly on hardpack/ice
