Just curious but who here sux at park. lol. like i love skiing sooo much and im awesome on the rest of the mountain but i suck at park, like i can barely do a 3. but whatevs i gotta start sumwhere rite?
yeah im pretty much the same as you, im good at the rest of the mountain and i get scared when i get to the bottom of the jump and bail, it sucks pretty bad.
lol, ok corked7man. Well considering after reading half the comments on here I semi decent. I can get decent 5s around and my 7's are still pretty penciled though. I can do 2's, switch ups, and 2;s out, working on pretzels this season. But nowhere near getting spancored.
I haven't skied park regularly for two years, but when I did I could only do 5's and a few tricks on rails. On boxes I could do a lot, but I never really got the hang of rails. Right now there's a good chance I'll never go into a terrain park again though, so any skill I might still have is useless.
I REALLY suck at park... but according to a contest i did today im GOOD lol. i got 3rd mens 13-18 mt. spokane slopestyle lol.
anyways i can 3 off smaller things cuzx i dont have that balls for a big 3, i can do most flat rails but i choose not to. and i can pretty mush 180 everything at our park except our kinda big step-up lol
i can do most rails, or at least wont back down. switch ups, 270's, working on 450's, 50-50's. however when it comes to big terrain park jumps i cant do much more than a 3. i feel at home hiking rails, not so much spinning huge off monster jumps.
I'm 21 and have been riding since i was 5, and park since i was 18, and i still suck. i think it's more mental for me though, i get scared trying new shit
Yeah, I'm not that great in the park. I've only been skiing consistently this year though, and I'm never really in the park a lot. Friday I spent a lot of the day in the park and managed to get a 360 (i landed extremely backseat though) and tonight I had to try for two hours before I could grind on a 10ft box. As long as you keep on trying and having fun, its no big deal.
I'm very steadily progressing. This is my first year with twins. I can do rails but haven't tried kinks yet. And I can do 180s, but not sw. 180s. I think this year may be the year I do a 360.
im the opposite. im pretty decent at jumps, but i cant do shit on rails. i can only hit rails regular and 270 on to boxes... cant spin for shit off of them.
well i finally found a jump at crystal that was good and i went to high north but i still suck at rails, my jumps are getting better really fast though.
