i just picked up a refurbished 30gig video from apple.com for $186(they charged me tax those douchebags). it just came the other day and it looks the same as if i bought a brand new one but i saved 70 bucks. they have 60 gigs for 230 i believe.
yup, this is what i was going to recommend. you cannot tell the difference between a refurb ipod from apple.com and a "new" ipod at all, except for the box that it comes in (other sites sell refurbs too, but they don't always look new). everything you get with a new ipod, you get in the refurbished one. they replace the casings and such so it looks completely new.
shiiit it comes with the warrantee and everythign.. i have a nano and im sick of only have 500 songs on it...sweet i think i might go buy a refurb video now
