Why does Tanner always have to be such a huge douche after he wins

He always acts like such a g-d up fagmo every time he wins. He gets on camera and sells all his shout out and bullshit and tries to sound like he's Oakland instead of Kalispel, Montana. He just makes skiing look bad every time he gets in front of the camera. It's bad for the sport and above all else embarrassing. I hate seeing and knowing what most people are thinking when he talks like that. He needs to realize he's skiing biggest ambassador and he needs to stop acting like a fag every time somebody shoves a camera in his face. Simon wouldn't have done that if he'd won. Which he did. Fucking judges.

simon didn't throw his arms up and claim the run he just stomped the fuck out of. instead he went straight to tanner and asked him if he was ok. and i also think that people shouldn't be so critical of tanner, it would be so hard to play off the role of a composed adult after you just killed your run and won x games.

Look man. Al these guys you talk about are great skiërs. I'm just wondering why some of them are so obsessed with their image, and Tanner is the worst of all. If he would just stick to his skiing and not try to act all gangsta or whatever. I'm ok with these guys trying to represent their sponsors and stuff like that (like Jon with his pink suit), but Tanner for exampel just acts as if everything revolves around him. He is an adult professional skier, and thus should realize the implications of being such and act in an according manner. He can still have his personality, but behaving in that manner draws negative attention to a growing sport. Look at the NBA, it was incredibly popular 10 years ago ... where is it now? Major networks rarely televise games anymore. Why? Because of the players acting in an unprofessional manner. Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and others from that era would never have jumped into the stands and start pounding on a fan. Yet they still retained their own idnetity and were beloved among their fans. Just a life lesson, although Tanner is a high school dropout hard for me to hold any reasonable standards to the uneducated.
