Why does Tanner always have to be such a huge douche after he wins

He always acts like such a g-d up fagmo every time he wins. He gets on camera and sells all his shout out and bullshit and tries to sound like he's Oakland instead of Kalispel, Montana. He just makes skiing look bad every time he gets in front of the camera. It's bad for the sport and above all else embarrassing. I hate seeing and knowing what most people are thinking when he talks like that. He needs to realize he's skiing biggest ambassador and he needs to stop acting like a fag every time somebody shoves a camera in his face. Simon wouldn't have done that if he'd won. Which he did. Fucking judges.

Ski a techy pipe run like that, win the x-games, get the money, hug your mom and girlfriend, realized you just made BANK, stop breathing heavy and stop the adreline, then hop in front of them camers poised, relaxed, and not caring.

I totally agree with you. And I just saw the two runs... and yes Simon got robbed. Simon and Tanner are two skiers that I don't really love, but man Dumont's run was just perfect. Plus, Tanner's first 1080 was like all pencil steeze (ugly!!!)

He dominates contests and makes killer segments, and he's been doing it for years. Winning the X Games doesn't make you the best skier - which is too subjective to define anyway - but its a better argument than not winning the X Games. I used to really dislike Tanner but he's getting better, and he is a lot closer to being the best skier than most people.

Actually yeah I did meet him like three summers ago at Mt Hood and he seemed pretty cool. He introduced himself to me in Govy which totally surprised me. It seems like all the success may have gotten to him. He use to be more humble.

You got to understand that this shit is all impromptu, Tanner doesnt have his winning speech written down. Plus, its kind of nice to not stare directly at a camera or person sometimes when you are thinking of what you really want to say while you are talking.
oh yea, and the xgames commentators always asked the gayest most awkward questions like
"you just said that you thought that dumont will win the competition but yet you won, how does that make you feel?" wtf? It seems like they always ask gay questions like this.

ok no offence to simon, I don't know him personally, but Tanner is a way more chill down to earth guy than he is. If it's the whole acting like a cocky douche bag thing you hate and you say tanners worse than simon you're an idiot. Simon's an awesome skiier, so stylie and pretty inovative, he works super hard and he's mad talented, but from what I've heard he's cockiest bastard ever.
But hey like I said I don't know him, I've never met him so I could easily be wrong
