So last season the hot thing was to make a symetrical park ski (fischer, atomic), are any new ones comin out?? Just kinda curious cuz last year it seemed like it was gonna be a big advancement in park skis with big companies like atomic and fischer gettin into it, but I haven't heard anything about it this year.
wow that's different... and yea anthems are gonna be so hot, I have a feeling there's a gonna be a lot of "how do I paint my skis?" threads though cuz they really fucked up on the graphics if you ask me.
ehh it seems too much like... I dunno, reminds me of some movie I saw about wolves. and it's hard to top how ballin the kiss graphics were, they shoulda been friggin honored those were pimp. I guess I'll have to wait to see them in person though to tell. Not to mention the sheer ballerness of the invader graphics makes them look bad.
I still dont get why you would want a completely symmetrical ski... going switch you distribute your weight totally differently on your tips, why dont they make a ski thats designed with that in mind?
Not really... when I stand switch, I put pressure on different points of my ski than when skiing forwards. Lots of things effect this, like my boots ability to flex in one direction, my knees being bent, etc. A fully symmetrical ski wouldnt effect how you ride switch at all, simply because, like normal twin tips, it doesnt address this issue of changed stance and different pressure points. We had the same discussion when the Addict came out.
hmm yea I guess i'm seein your point here. But a fat bc jumping symetrical ski would be sick cuz it would make floating in pow switch a lot easier, that unity one looks really weird though not feelin the pointy death tips.
