Next weekend my parents are planning to take a trip up to NH to see my brother at college and then ski at Killy for 2 days. The problem is that if I went I would be missing a huge rail jam in which the first place prize is a contract with Oakley. I think I have a good shot at winning it too. So basically now I have to choose between Killy and seeing my brother, or a shot at a contract with Oakley. I'm torn. WTF SHOULD I DO!?!?!?!?!
well being an older brother my opinion would be that he will probably understand if he knows how big a deal skiing is to you. if my little brother had a shot at something i wouldn't mind. then again, if i knew my brother wasn't at the caliber of the competition and he was entering this comp then i would be annoyed. but you say you have a chance, so whatever.
DO THE COMP. IT'S OAKLEY. Not like that'll be your last time seeing your brother. And if you think you have a good chance of winning, DO IT. Why are you even thinking about it.
Do your parents know it's going down? If they don't, you can talk to them and tell them how important it is for your to get a shot at it and such.
