this is bullshit...i know at least two kids who bought all east passes just because of the new park and they arent even gonna have it. This is one of the worst things mount snow can do to insure its status as an east freeski mecca. They need to pull their heads out of their asses.

I think its bullshit how they dumb 20 ft of snow on a halfpipe with 40 snow guns but they don't get the park up first.

yeah, kind of confuses me, nowadays, i mean, the way i see trends moving in the East at least is that kids arent really into pipe at all, they would much rather have a solid park with good flow and features then a half assed pipe that ices over anyways. waste of time and money if you ask me to just say that we have a super pipe. why not put the time you put into grooming a pipe, making snow for it and advertising it into your park to make it super sick.

When was the last time you saw a park on the east coast made out of natural snow? Its got nothing to do with snow, the temperatures have been well below freezing the last few weeks leaving them plenty of time to make a solid park.

stratton and okemo is in the same boat as mt snow and look at what they have-they have similar weather patterns and temps and stratton just opened a new park from what I hear is decent and looks decent from the pics. I was at okemo today and their pipe is fully open and sick as shit.......soooooo mt snow I realize that you are losing money here but look at what your competitors have that are probably also losing money because of the weather. You claim the biggest park in the east, hype it up like crazy, and aren't trying, then mother nature gives u 3 weeks of good snowmaking temps and you still dont do anything ......I'm sorry but when you hype shit like that up you have to back it up. At least give us an update on the site instead beating around the bush about the additions on blanco. No one wants to hear that shit they want to know what the status is of the new park is. I would rather have them just tell me now its over now due to weather cause then at least we would have an answer. Oh well whatever...
