Pretty dumb question...
But my family wants to spend 1 week on the other side of the ocean with my bro nd I. We have been often in the us so we dont have to see the usual stuff. But first we wanted to go to alaska do some activities but mostly drive through the state.
Then we came with the idea of going fly fishing somewhere... heard stuff about alaska/canada and idaho as well.
Thats kinda the situation my parents always arange those things at the last moment.
But the thing is I really wanna (nd must) go to whistler!
Nd I BC is such an amazing state, so could guys plz tell me some really nice things to see nd do in BC.

I went fly fishing for pike in northern Saskatchewan a couple years ago and it was really fun. 45-50" pike there are not uncommon at all, and I had more fun fishing for them than I've ever had trout fishing. Of course, if you hit Alaska right there's always the salmon run...

Thanks guys for the reactions. But the thing is that I know both are amazing haha. Id really like it if some ppl could give me more specific information.
As for that cruise what mitch said, I heard that is soo amazing nd beautiful. But doesnt it take a very long time? (I think we are only going for 10 days...)
nd for the fishing, we arent like real fishers haha. We just wanna do it couple days coz we heard such amazing stories about it. Nd isnt Idaho the best for fly fishing? (which they told me is the most exciting for ppl who have almost no eperience with fishing or what so ever.
But if ppl have some cool things to do in bc, province (thanks for the hate:P). Then plz tell me.
Thanks everyone

a typo in every post hes had in this thread, occuring multiple times in each post? sounds legit
but honestly i don't care that much
in order to add something positive to this thread I've many great things about BC and Alaska in the summer and I've never heard much about Idaho. I would expect the Idaho fishing trip to be awesome but pretty remote.

sea kayaking is really popular up there in AK...i'm sure there are some vendors that will allow you to rent some kayaks...go out on the prince william sound. Prob. hiring a guide for a few hours would be worth the money.
It's a good way to travel and see wild life in a fairly safe environment.
Just another note...you need to be flown in to visit most of the national parks that are there...so if you think you can just drive all over the state you are mistaken.
regardless...check out ak during the summer, it'll be an amazing time.

Montana is actually the best for fly fishing. Watch A River Runs Through It. If you want specific information on outfitters in Missoula, MT, pm me.

Take a cruise to AK, and see the glaciers and stuff... You can raft, and hike, and fly fish, and swim and do all kinds of fun stuff up in Alaska

alright well if you want to see places then i would recomend driving(long way or the short way) from anchorage to fairbanks and stopping in denali and drive thru the park a little bit then maybe stay in denali for a night( it has a really really good pizzaria and ice cream stores and you can do some white water rafting there too) and then drive the rest of the way up to fairbanks and go hike angel rocks and hang out at the hot springs. if you are up in june at the right time you could even ski at the big easy snowboard/ski camp wich is the shit.
