Replying to Editing software with PVGS300

Alright so i got a PVGS300 awhile back and im loving it, I just started to edit some stuff with the software that came with it and so far its been ok, ive thrown some lil edits together. But i was wondering since i have pretty much zero experience with this stuff how it stacks up against other programs? Because it does seem pretty elementary and limited. Let me know what you guys thought of it, caue i know theres lotsa GS300 users on here.
