1. spin with your hips, your core will keep your body together, if you spin with your upper body you are more likely to get held up in your spin, and thus not make it around.
2. do wait till you get to the lip of the jump, spot the landing before you even spin, if you don't look off the lip of the jump before you spin, you probably will get back seat.
3. winding up: as for your first attemps it'll be good to use your arms to get your spinning momentum, however, make sure not to leave your arms where you throw them to, because eventualy your body will catch up, then try to pass them, and if your leading arm is crossing your chest, it will slow/stop your rotation early, not good.
to avoid this, keep leading with your head/vision: by getting your head around and spotting your landing, your whole body will end up beneath you as you want it.
4. slow spins and fast spins are pretty much the same, the only difference is how hard you pop, and how much momentum you take into your spin
** remeber, what ever spin you're going for, or end up getting to, complete it.
if you are going for a 360 and find yourself at 270, try and complete the spin, if you are going for a 360 and end up at 450, don't be afraid to put it to 540. Hesitating/second guessing your self in the air will end badly.
