Yep, the pivot series is completely gone. Even the race stock bindings are gone. Say goodbye to your FKS 185's, say hello to PX18s.
I don't really mind that they replaced pivot with PX, in my opinion they are pretty equivalent, but replacing the race stock with PX...I dunno.

I have the oldschool P15's with the fully turntable heels. The ones that spin all the way around, even when you step out and stuff. Good stuff, especially when it cost $25. Stupid ski swap people

I won't badmouth until I've tried it
Apparently they're going to come in a 12 din, a 15 din, and an 18 like they used too, and they're going to be a px style heel just all metal and reinforced and shit

Wow, they couldn't have made a shittier move, seriously.
After all the hype about the FKS and P18 wides this year, and now they discontinue the whole line? Looks like I'll have to either buy the FKS while they're still availible, or maybe *gasp* try a high-end Salomon binding...but the whole reason I like Look was for the pivoting heel, otherwise I might as well ride any other binding. Fuck.

At next year ski swap I'll be hoarding race skis for their turntable sweetness.
Hey, anybody in the market for Rossi race skis say in like 9 months? bindings not included.

Yeah it sucks.....BUT.....
s916.
Well, actually I feel bad for you park kids because the turnable heel was probably the best park binding ever.
Do remember how durable these bindings are. Ive seen people skiing on the same pairs of 10 years. They will be around and you will be able to find them if needed. It will be ok.
And, if not, s916. =)

deadbolt are looking better and better these days, the PX is alright, but the pivot just has better retension, and never pre-released.

maybe they stopped making them cause the new ones are better? safer? or maybe they're just retarded? I have a feeling they might have done some research on this, and not just decided to stop for no reason

Deadbolts are solid, I'd take those over Salomon's any day. We'll see if the new stuff from Marker holds up to what its cracked out to be.

some company should buy the design of the binding or somthing so that they can make it their own and then the greastest binding ever made will live on

WOW. ive known they were gonna do this, but after skiing them, im sooo disapointed. absolutely the most LOCKED in binding ever. no play in them at all. the PX is equal in retention and everything, im not worried about that. what sucks, is they are much taller, and the mounting pattern kills the flex. if you ride 2 skis with pivots or turntables, and then a PX, its VERY evident. guess ill have to snag some more old ones on ebay, start collecting them.
