alright so i didn't search it but tonight when i was skiing there was a point when i couldn't feel my toes and it took like 10 or 15 minutes to regain feeling in them
um ive had days where i cant regain feeling for about 30-45 min. a few of my toes have reynauld's syndrome, which means they lose all blood and feeling, and "white out" (they look completely white). so stop being a pussy, its skiing, its supposed to be cold. on the plus side, when you cant feel em, they dont hurt!
Move your toes in your boots when you are on the chairlift... get circulation.. thats about the only way outside of sticking a shoesole hotpack in there.
yeah they have those hotpack things that you like strap to your boots and then put these heated insoles in and recharge them at the end of the day ive never used thm, only seen em so i dont know how they work, might be good if u feel like dropping a hundred dollars on emĀ
take your skies off and swing your legs back and forth, this will help get blood to your feet. also loosen up the buckles on your boot that'll also get more blood flow in your feet.
that kid was right, stop skiing and go inside for like a few minutes if your feet get cold. if it doesnt work unbuckling your boots on the lift up, then get some foot warmers if you dont want to go inside to warm up.. its as simple as that.
I think it means ur boots are too tight and its harder for the blood to circulate. So i just unbuckle after each run and I just wiggle my toes around alot
Put some in your socks before you head out, it increases your blood flow and consequently makes your feet less prone to being cold. You can't put too much, and you'll notice a huge difference.
Many thanks to good 'ol grand-pa Ralph for lending me that trick.
thats helped me to keep water out, which keeps feet warm. but ive lost feeling in my toes many times, you just need to go in wen they get to that point
Just wear 2 pairs of socks. Or just have hot hands in your socks. Just move them around, they will give off heat with energy dispersal, so move your toesys.
wear really thin socks it gives your feet more room therefore the blood flows better keeping you warmer unbuckling your boots is a good idea to like said earlier
everytime my friend goes skiing she says her feet go numb after the first 2 runs and then she's fine everytime she goes skiing.I dont get it tho cus my feet dont even get cold
my feet freeze every time it's below 20. Eventually they just go numb. I tough it out for awhile then go warm up inside. I tried the toe warmers, they only worked for awhile.
get better boots, i have Dalbello proton 8's and ive been out in below 0 weather after we had a day of rain, and the boots were all drenched, but they were still warm. they are also cheap at $350 brand new, and have an insole that, when heated, will form to your foot and it is like paradise for your feet.
