Mounting & Unmounting Question

So I got some new Invaders 171's and i'm wondering where i should mount them I ski like 70% park 30% all mountain ( yai know not the best ski for all mountain but i was desperate) also I'm like 5'7 120. Also I was wondering how to unmount my Salomon bindings I know it sounds stupid but I don't want to go to a shop and have them do so if you guys could help me out

Pretty sure your best of mounting invaders dead center since their sym.

To take off bindings you just take out the screws that are holding them on.  You'll probably have to take off the heels (I'm not really familiar with Salomons), but it's pretty straightforward.

you cant put them on yourself. dont try youll fuck it up big time. but you can take them out. shops appreciate it. and the mounting line is center on them

Invaders = symmetrical = if you don't mount them dead center you will be slayed by the mounting gods.

thanks guys ya i just dont want to mess up my bindings so i might just take them to the shop after all but i'm open to more suggestions

well I'm guessing you're having your invaders mounted at a shop anyway so just take your old skis too and have them do everything for you. and when I go skiing I carry rocks in my pockets to throw at people who dont center mount their invaders.

But do you guys think center mounting them is ok for everything other than the park?

You'll just have to come to terms with the fact that Invaders are probably the worst ski you can possibly buy for skiing outside of the park.  You'll survive, but I can't guarantee you'll have much fun doing it.

well you dont really have a choice man not sure if you are aware of this but invaders are symetrical, meaning their tip and tail are the same exact size, if you mounted one backwards it would ski the same. so basically mounting them anywhere other than center would not only defeat the purpose of getting them but probably make them ski really weird.

ok ya that is what i was thinking ya i think i'm up to the challenge to ski the invaders outside the park like no one has before but thanks for the imput guys

I would say just mount them center if you do mostly park i think they should be fine for all-mountain still

I mounted my scratches and Mo2's. But i used a paper jig i made...no tearouts almost 3 years later,,,
