I sit through class every single day and i can't force myself to pay attention. I know if I could that my grades would be waaay better and im just sick of always lookin at the clock, fiddling with shit, etc. Does anyone have any ideas of what could help that are non-medicinal. I was thinking maybe finding something to play around with that doesnt require thinking to occupy myself with one thing so maybe i can direct my focus on class. Idk anyone have any ideas or tricks of your own?
asking questions helps me pay attention, if your looking for pharmaceuticals for an answer, i know a kid who used some ADD medicine a while back, he zoned out, it was incredible
Write down open ended questions about the day's topic/lesson before class that you can ask during the lesson. Leave space for more detailed questions. This can help keep you zoned in.
try to make things interesting. it sounds lame, but also participating a lot helps class time go by and forces you to pay attention. if I find myself nodding off in a class where I know I need to pay attention, I'll just raise my hand the next time the teacher asks a question or wants something.
i hate kids that ask a lot of questions, especially if they are repetitive. for me i just listen and answer questions and that helps me get good grades
getting involved in the class is the best way. question what the teacher says rather than just take it all in. also i spin a pen around my thumb that keeps me from wandering
ya man i had that problem 2 years ago but then i got tested for adhd and now my grades have skyrocketed and u can pourposly fail the test they give u, wonder drugs man
