I take that back waterfall was pretty dam big on wendsday. Made all the others jumps fell pretty small. Also I learned my lesson about not going of the last jump above the pipe too fast or your gonna land way down on the landing and it dosen't feel too good. Anyways the park is starting to get fun again.
Just started from the top and speed checked once. I would suggest rollin in and you should have no problems. but it's nice to have a buddy to watch out for gapers if your doin that.
no one cares about baby parks. and you probably went to stevens before mid febuary, which is usually when they start to get thier act together and build the good jump line up. there's no question snoqualmie has better jibs and pipe, but sometimes it seems like their cat driver was sipping on the hootch while grooming the jumps.
I hear ya man. I was hitting every jump perfect one day last season and I straight lined it after the waterfall. I hit that last one at full speed and got FUCKED UP. I have no idea what I was thinking.
yea im not sure how you get "by far" in that. As Ryan said, rails and boxes are much better, and when they actually cut the pipe, it is usually better (but for fucks sake they didnt open it until late January. snowmaking, predug....!!!!). Jumps are usually much better at stevens, although the jumps at snoqualmie can be pretty good at times. Post season they are beautiful. Its a shame they dont do anything like that during the season, however.
i said by far because he said he likes boxes and snoqualmies jibs are better and more creative than stevens (van jib) and they have the toll bridge which is sick
Please remember that summit is on private land and stevens is on public. that really define what we put in the park. i wanted to put out a bus with plastic on top but we cant forest service wont let us. i wanted to get a park sponsership like summit has from oakley and stuff but cant.
so it really sucks so email the pass and tell them we need more stuff, more money, more limits.
the biggest thing stevens could do in my eye to make their park better is lower the price of their season passes and not have their day passes $10 more then they post on the internet.
Yea Snoqualmie is gay as hell when it comes to jumps, always has been, with a few exceptions. I didn't really start getting good in the air until I started riding Stevens as well.
