whats the difference between chrocheted and knitted? is knitted a lot tighter woven?

It's a differnt kind of way to make stuff like knit you use different fabric then crochet i'm not really sure either but thats my best guess

its just a differnt way of making the hat you use the same yarn just differnt tools to makeit like .. like crotchet hooks and knitting needles
