Yo me and my buddy are coming out to ski at lake louise, and probly head over to kicking horse once or twice. wondering if anybody would wanna chill with us. show us some sick spots to hit on the mountain. were going out on the 31st and leaving on the 6th. let me know. peace.

Hmm, I've been to Louise about 5 times this year since moving out....and I haven't seen a single booter, even in the back bowls.
I'll keep my eyes open this weekend for booters and/or spots.
Any recommendations out there as to where to build?

Louise has a pretty hard-packed South side right now.
I recommend stickin' to the back bowls and Larch area.

Louise is fucked, the snow is shit, same with everywhere. If you want good snow you will have to hike for it and make sure you are on east and north facing aspects. We are in a drought and the sun has crusted up the south and west faces.

It's true. What a difference a week makes.
Louise and KH were SICKE(!) two weekends ago, and this past weekend a lot of terrain had gone through a few serious heating/freezing cycles. The snows are supposed to be coming this weekend though.

it wasnt too bad these last few days at louise when the sun came out and softened everything up a bit, but if its cloudy it'll definitely be shit. Hopefully we'll get a decent amount of snow though.

Bizzare...i'm from ontario too and just found out i'm going to be out there the first weekend of march. probably the 3rd, 4th and 5th. Haven't decided where to go yet, I was thinking kicking horse.

Depends what you're looking for...and where the snow's at. KH and Louise have the better terrain....Fernie/Castle are good too...but spotty at times...ie. NOW.
