Mountain Dew: Sperm Count

I have heard so many rumors about moountain dew its ridiculous. I'm 17 and it seems like my entire life people have been telling me it "reduced my sperm count" and all this garbage. I love the dew and have always just brished these rumors off as being BS but does anyone have any proof that this is actually true or can I just go back to drinking my dew in peace?

its apparently an urban legend kind of thing. People say the yellow 5 lowers your sperm count but it doesn't I guess. At least it won't in the amounts that you get from mountain dew.

We talked about it in chemistry once; the synopsis was that yellow 5 or whatever dye they use IS dangerous to your sperm count, if taken in absurd amounts (such as direct injections) but not at the amount that they use in drinks, not even close.

That's what I heard in chemistry class, so beleive it or not, I duno.

yes MOUNTAIN DEW DOES LOWER YOUR SPERM COUNT! but is has nothing to do with yellew 5. mountain dew has caffine in it dosent it? caffine lowers ones sperm count. so it is not an urban legend or myth or some secret ingrediant, it is caffine, a cup of coffie has the same effect. and it is not an issue like if i drink to much mountain dew now i wont be able to have kids and ten years. all it means is ifd you are trying to have kids dont drink caffine.
