Albumbase/rapidshare question

i am trying to download albums from albumbase they it sends me to rapidshare to download it once i pick out the album i want.i downloaded it with no problem but im not sure how to play it.itunes or musicmatch wont open it.any suggestions?

sometimes its a .rar, so you need winzip or winRAR what ever to open it and extract the files to get it to play in itunes and other players.

im trying that right now but it says it says enter password for encrypted file when i try to extract the files

does it say that for all the things you download or just a specific file? Also which program did you get?

i got winrar and im not sure if it does it for all of them because i only downloaded one album..ill download another one and see what happens

some files on albumbase have a password so just go back to the download page on albumbase and check.

winRAR works good for me, it says its only a 30 day trial, but i've had it working fine for two years
