School Pride/Spirit

My school is fucking insane. It makes school so much more fun and crazy. Heres a picture from one of our basketball games. We're The MOUNTIES by the way....and we have a group called the Mountie Maniacs.

School spirit fosters such negative elements of regionalism, elitism, and hatred, I was also too busy smoking and doing drugs to care about school spirit.

Yea, that was just a small portion of the people there.

The last game our team had to be escorted in by police. We were playing our rivals, East Stroudsburg, and a few months back someone from our school shattered their mayors elbow with a baseball bat.

you kids no nothing about school pride theres a school up the road from mine called north toronto they have so much school spirit its not even funny fuckers always having spirit days and shit runnin around in there colours i was meeting up tehre to smkoe a spliff with some guys and we went in to chil and there was posters and shit all over the walls fucking disgusting

Your student section sucks. For every basketball game we have atleast 60 kids there. And for football games, we would have 20 kids + 20 cheerleader + about 10 football players come out in the parking lot for a 3 hour tailgate, and then our section for football games would be 50+ kids.

haha North Toronto.  My school, St. Mikes won the metro bowl this year, killing the shit out of Pickering.  Everyone was drunk and fucking going crazy.  Halfway through the game my schools vice principal had to stop the game to say how we should leave the stands and have the other school leave 20 minutes before.  They lined up like 30 police in between the two schools.  After the game, outside the skydome was just filled with mace and pepperspray from the police breaking up fights.  This one kid in my school got ran over by a horse and a bunch more were taken in.  A bunch of guys from Pickering beat up one of the police officers, and it was some hardcore shit

my school doesn't have school spirit or at least it hasn't since the 3 years i've been there.
all of our sports teams suck except for fieldhockey.

the most spirited thign i've seen since i've been at oxford hills was during the eastern maine semifinials field hockey game last october. I made an indien pinyata becasue the oppenent was the skowhegan indiens, got 30 kids to go to the game which was supposed to be 2 hours away but we made it in an hour fifteen, and beat the shit out of the indien right beside the field before the game.

90%(approx) of our students painted their bodies white for whiteout night at a varsity bball game. it was dank shit. even the black kids painted themselves white.

i went to my first ever basket ball game last week.  omg it was such a joke. there were no more than 10 students there, and 30 people in the stands.  i couldnt help but find it hilarious.  spirit is a joke at my school.  cant say it bothers me though

my class was the only one to ever have school spirit. all the other classes just sat there and did nothing. senior year most of my class would go to every sports activity and go crazy. it owuld always get out of hand and esspecially at school assembalies. the assembally our principal told us he was moving to our rival school we all chanted traitor and ran to the middle of the gym and went nuts (it was our very last assebally) and then he told us to sit down while we chanted "fuck yo couch". my school isn't alloud to have pep rallies this year. thjank god i grafduated last year. i remember all the senior guys make kilts and painted out faces like braveheart and then one of my friends has an old horn and we would blow that and yell freedom and then we proceeded to pillage our school much to the teachers dissmay. shit was strewn.

over the summer i moved from one town to another just across, and this one has imense school spirit and i love it, its true it makes school so much more fun and crazy, and we have a campaign called mendon madness its so sweet, our homecomings are enourmous, we dont even play at highschool fields we play at college fields cuz ther so big, this year we were on ESPn

my school has alot of school spirit... i hate it... with a passion.

no one (well the majority) isnt even interested in the school or the sport, they just follow along becasue a couple of senoirs do it and its "cool." they have songs and dance moves. its nauseating.

but then again, it might not be the spirit i hate... it might be the people. my school is full of hypocritical, self-righteous assholes.

our school spirit is very funny because there are usually a lot of people at the boys games and far fewer (if any) at the girls games
