Fell Asleep At The Wheel Today.

Today I kissed death and almost died. I was driving home from a day of skiing when I fell asleep at the wheel. I remember thinking about how tired I was and that I wished I would have bought a mountain dew then I fell asleep. I dont know if it was the turning of the wheel or what but I woke up in the left lane. Right as I woke I saw a car go for the shoulder. I veered back into my lane and both cars survived unscathed. I was probably only asleep for a second or 2 but it was one of the most scariest/ biggest addrenaline rushes/ stupidest things I have done.

yea falling asleep at the wheel is scary as fuck. It sucks being so tired, and your eyes just want to close, and no matter what, it just gets worse.
But a great thing is just to take a nice 15 minute power nap, and then you can drive for hours it seems. I was coming down from skiing, exhausted and barely awake, but found a trailhead. Slept for 10 minutes, and was super refreshed.

My friend did and when he woke up, sparks were flying everywhere from his car grinding up against the guard rail.
