what i was saying is that if he has the shots of the few tricks of the skiers named above then he would obviously have more but if he didnt take the shots then its a different story. but then again if he didnt take the shots who did? whad he do steal them then? i dont quite get it...

thats what the intro is for--to get you stoked about the movie, and cr and jon and such do that. they could always put it in at the credits, but personally i think the intro works better for shots like that. sick movie too

Snonasty - A lot of filmers swap footage at the end of season. This way everyone can enhance thier own vids a little bit.
The only thing I didn't understand about the intro was the shot that said New Jersey, the terrain for sure doesn't look like NJ.

yeah word, i remebered that shot too. it looks like somwhere in the desert, they were like plateaus, not mountains that was strange. mabye its an insider with berman and the crew.

To answer some questions, the intro has a big skate film influence... basically a montage of locations and athletes that either summarize highlights from the season, or didn't have a better place in the film.
There are only 3 shots in the intro that came from someone else's camera, the two of Sage, and the one of Jamie Pierre. Like someone pointed out, the film companies do a fair bit of trading of clips to round out segments, and better benefit the athletes that we work with.
Keep it real.

answer the new jersey question, because im from there and i sure as hell was confused. Anyway, yeah, jon olsson's segment in blunt i think was 100% johnny decesare footage. and so was most of boyd's segment. And i think in that commentary levin said that some of tanner's footage was yours^

the shot wasn't new jersey, it was nevada...just a joke to mix it up. with all the shots of sick ski locations from around the world, you can't leave out the jersey desert sunset shot..i mean come on
