Mountain bikers wear camo cargo shorts. Need we say more? Nope. And when's the last time you saw anyone jumping a mountain bike doing it with style? Never. That's when. Let's not talk about how their top "freestyle" guy is an BMX-er who couldn't hack a crappy semi-pro career, and switched to mountain bikes only to become the top guy in the sport. But hey, mountain biking is cool, right?

No, it's not. Mountain biking is the only action sport that is more culturally irrelevant than skiing, and considering how irrelevant skiing is these days, that says a lot.

It's ok Pete, I still think you're sexy.

Jumping and freeriding is not the only part of mountain bking. What about DH racing and all that other stuff? Don't call down mountain biking because of one aspect. Sure, mountain bikers have not been able to copy the same style as skiers, and they do not look very stylie when they ride, true. But they will in a couple of years. The new type of slopestyle mountain biking is only 3-4 years old. Also, Berrecloth is not bikings super star. He might be frreriding's superstar, but not racings superstar

fuck style in mountain biking. its not a style oriented sport. its about going big or going home. get on a bmx if you want to do a fucking tail whip. mountain biking is about down hill and fast.
