Is anyone going who would enjoy giving a poor college student a ride? I was possibly going to enter the comp tomorrow depending on how the park was BUT my ride bailed on me and i want to ski very badly! gas money will be provided of course.

fuck, it was awesome today. Thanks for everyone who tryed to help last night. Anyway, we took the busses to Sultan and then got the shuttle up to Stevens. It took 5 hours, but was well worth it.

It was insane, on our way back, we got off the shuttle in sultan and missed the last bus to Everett for the night (by like 2 minutes). No one on the shuttle was going anywhere near Seattle, or they didn't have room, so we had to find a new way home. Doing the only logical thing, I ended up going up to numerous strangers going into gas stations and McDonalds, telling them what was up, and trying to get a ride to seattle. In about 20 minutes the three of us were in this guy named Vin's truck on the way to Monroe (about 5 miles away).

So we keep talking to the guy and he ends up taking us all the way back to UW. He ended up being super fucking chill, and didn't even charge us gas money. Above all, we got back to UW about 2 hours ahead of when we would have gotten there had we taken the bus. Had to be one of the best ski days of my life.
