i totally agree with you! i used to ski with the patrollers at blue. i had a great time with them. we have encountered many situations where skiers/boarders had a complete negative attitude towards the patrollers. this mostly resulted in a clipped pass or ticket. but hey, patrollers are great. they are the ones who take you off the mountain when you dont land how you want to. thats the way i put it.

yea there are lots of really cool patrollers but the stupid bad ones are so annoying. We are having a discussion in our park about skiers in the park with a patroller we arent supposed to be there. so when he says leave after talking to him a bit we leave. Then later he gets the head patroller to talk to us about the argument we had with the guy in the park and said if we were n there again our passes would be gone for the rest of the season

Yeah, but when the patroller got mad at Newschooler14 and me, it was because i took a friends ski and threw it off to the side of the hill after he went down. I guess looking back on it, it wasn't the smartest thing to do, but it was pretty funny how they were bitching out the single tippers even though they left when they told them too.

its the stupid ones that give all the tight patrollers a bad rap. like this one girl got her ticket ripped b/c she put her bindings on her snowboard while on the lift, even though there is no sign saying not to anywhere at the hill, i hate those stupid people

yeah me and my friends almost got in trouble for skiing backwards once, and we were like well there is nothing about it in the rules it just says don't ski out of controll and we can ski better backwards then some of the fudgies, and she is all telling us how it is in the rules. so we went and got a copy of the rule book and we were right, one of the main patrollers agreed with us and she was really mad. it was quite funny.

Yeah most patrolers Ive met are cool, Although One day at Whitetail resort me and my bro were doing backflips all day and of course they have a
no invert rule so they busted him first and i thought hey! what an oppurtunity to pull out my camera and take some pictures. So i must've snapped off about 15 pictures
and was laughing my ass off at my bro who was trying to lie his way out of it. So then the patrolers walk up to me and clip mine for taking pictures.
I didn't really care, the conditions were shitty anyways, then a host comes up and starts giving me guff to after its all pretty much said and done
and steps all over my 1080's, scuffing the shit out of em. The Something snapped and
i stepped out of my bindings and proceeded to pushing the bastard that was screwing up my skis
a few punches were given to the face by me and then my bro had already snapped in his skis
and was at the bottom. so i pushed him down and ran to mine and stepped in and was out
The patrolers were way cool with the pictures and hell we even got pictures of me and my bro and them all buddy buddy like
but the hosts or coutestesy patrols are complete deutches

Everyone should be nice to patrolers... I mean even if they have taken our lift tickets away a few times dont let a few bad ones ruin their image....
They are only doing their jobs and if you're nice to them they tell you where the good pow is!

some patrollers kick ass, and some suck ass, my friend was trying backflips off this jump we made (inverts arent allowed at bittersweet) and right after he crashes, a patroller came down and said a bunch of shit which i forgot, then he said 'that looked cool'... hes one of the cool patrollers

I've never gotten my pass pulled, but I've had a few run ins with the men in red for 'skiing out of control'. I just take their comments quietly and then ask them why they aren't kicking every gaper or beginner off the hill. I politely point out that I can stop or turn a lot quicker than some of the other people riding, so why not worry about them. Sometimes they agree, sometimes they point a finger. But all in all, I'm glad we got em. Haha, who else is gonna pull the dead sled?
Cheers
