My neighbor, who is my age, goes to my school, that i have known for 11 years is having a party tomorrow night. Nothing huge but something more then a get together. Were seniors and since he doesn't want it to get out of hand he has a list of people that are going, and im not there? I don't get it either, we've gone to parties together, we hang out, or parents work together ... and its not that im just automatically there that im not on the list. So i don't get it.. i tried the "joking" method of bringing it up in conversation and he shot it down immediately. I'm not a begger so i'm not going to ask to go, so i don't know what to do. any ideas on any of this

I was basically in the same situation as you last night, 'friends' fucking suck. But like people said, just be the bigger person and don't make a huge deal about it. If someone did this to you, they're not worth your time anyways. It's low

If I had to guess on this, I would have to say that he doesnt want you there. Not to mean that he doesnt want to be friends with you. maybe theres going to be single girls there and he doesnt want you taking any away from him. there has to be some reason he doesnt want you there. I know its a bit different, but maybe he thinks its going to get out of hand and doesnt want you to get into trouble. A boyfriend of mine, never wanted me going to certain parties,and if I went, he wouldnt let me out of site, because he knew it would get out of hand and worried something might happen. It could be something like that

nah from what he said, this kids friend like everybody else more than him. if your under 25 on his list and he's too much of a bitch to add you in, then, viz, he does not like you very much, so realize that hes not your friend, and deal with it.

i can see where the guys coming from not wanting that many people there and only people he trusts. But hes being guy by letting the word out about it. I had a party at my house a couple months ago and only told 10 kids about it, no one crashed becasue i wasn't a retard and told other people, but i did get a call on my cellphone a couple hours before it was goign to go down by a chick named diamond who i'd never heard of before. so back to your story, if the parties 25 people chances are you won't be the only one poaching it. so show up if you want, but if theres that many people there and you go to a school as gay as mine i wouldn't go becsaue somehow word of the party will get to the adminastration and they'll find a way to kick you out of every club that ever existed, lose your parking privlages in school lots, and get sports suspensions. Anyway dude, the choice is yours, make it.

well i just looked out my window and hear the music.

i respect the fact he doesn't want me there, thats his choice, he is entitled to it.

however i lost alot of respect for him himself. The fact we go way back, and that we are friends and neighbours, that just blows my mind. And the fact that he wont even tell me honestly why he doesn't want me there also is making me lose alot of respect for him. It sucks, i thought he was a good guy, what ever, shit happens. im tired and going to bed.

shit happens yo, trust me ive had plenty of partys where ive had to tell friends they couldnt come because there were already so many people there. hes just tryin to be safe, im sure he wants you there as i did my friends but people have tons of friends. and if hes trying to keep an even ratio, and only 25 people, thats only like 12 guys. its a shitty situation and im sure he didnt want to have to say u couldnt come, but fuck it dude, just wait till u have oone and dont have him

interesting part to add.....so im also "not invited" to this party... or so i thought....So the guy having the party makes a list of 25 people who are invited, I'm on the list but don't no yet because he hasn't told everyone yet...I find out when of my best "firends" girlfriend didn't make the list, so he asks my buddy who is having the party if she can come... he says she can't come unless you cut one of your friends who don't no about the party yet... so my "best friend" goes behind my back and "cuts" me off the list so his g/f can go.?!?! (he decided to tell some people about what he did and hoped i wouldn't find out...that newb got owned) and then avoids talking about the party for two days...i confronted his wasted ass about it, and kept my cool, and listened to him try and bullshit me....its funny cause i no he'll read this thread.. Hi jared!

What should i do next?

dude i know its shitty but calling the cops would be a total fag move. like i know you said you wont do it but a lot of kids suggested it, and that is lame as hell and very immature. that could mean big consequences for the kids who are just there and had nothing to do with you not getting invited. gotta think about shit like that before you do something rash.

wholy shit chris. when i was reading that i didn't think it was you, merely some random. After i get to the end i kept thinking no way! this is exactly like jared from this party! then you say "hi jared!" and then i look up and your NS name is Challenger, and it all made sence.

but yeah it sucks eh, we should have gone and got some eggs or something haha. Did you even end up going?

Weak... There will be more parties, just hope they had a good time, think about other people, 25 people had fun, but you didn't. It sucks real bad for you, but at least someone had fun, and if he really feels like a dick, he will invite you next time.

no this is what you do. throw a party like his 20-25 ppl and dont tell him about it, make it sick and do it soon, im sure ull have an oppurtunity at sometime this year. I threw a party the other night at my house and it was sick. perfect amount of ppl, didnt get caught/ didnt get in trouble with the popo. and i live in a really nice neighboorhood with paranoid neighbors, so whereever u live it can be done. ANYWAYS... dont invite him, dont even mention it to him, dont even talk about it with kids around him, it will be fun and everyone will talk about it for a while and forget about his party if everything goes well

and that concludes my long ass post. go for it
