they have been mounted once and taken out for a day but never seen a rail. the edges are still sharp and and the bases were'nt scatched at all. the top sheet looks like new except for a small chip out of the sidewall that wont effect any thing. i need new gear soon so i will be willing to trade or sell if ur up 4 it. ill put up pics if theres intrest... and oh ya there 175s
