Extremely effective at scaring the hell out of you about addiction and drugs. The editing on that movie made it what it was. The acting was good, but holy shit, the editing was just raw and abrasive. It made for a great theme throughout the movie.

everytime i hear the theme song i get all scared and try to hide. definetly the best movie you could watch if you wanted to stop doing drugs or kill yourself.

i dont know why i said last year... it was the year before and I hadnt seen the film yet. But like someone said it was the adaptation of the book. The thing most people miss is that it's not just about drugs but about overall process and role of addiction in people , whatever that may be. sex, drugs, video games, gambling could be almost anything

yes, it always starts as the "spring" where there's the idea and the actual start, then theres the "summer" where everything's chilllllll and nice, then the "fall" wehre things start to get out of hand and finally the "winter" where every possible bad thing that could happen, happens.

I learned nothing new about drugs and their dangers, and although I did find it to be a great movie, it did not scare me very much, knowing shit like this won't happen to me. The character development and the downfall is what made it great.

its basically about these kids who are pretty good people and could have futures for themselves getting into selling heroine and eventually get addicted to it and become junkies just to stay alive. and the kids mom gets addicted to speed to lose weight. but its crazy fucked up

pi is about a math genius who starts going crazy.
the fountain is hard to explain, it has three parallel storylines which weave together (one in medieval times about a conquistador, one in the present about a scientist trying to find a cure for death, and one in the future).
just see them.
