hey all. i might be heading to these two fine ski areas this weekend, and i have never been to either. just wondering what runs are the must-hits. will have one day at each area. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

uhh well i dont know much about either resort but i skied both earlier this week. what i do know is the fact that jackson hole is in dire need of snow. everything is super tracked out and hard, due to the cold temps. so if you dont plan on going ob then plan on skiing super shitty snow and a thin snowpack on the lower mountain. targhee was a little softer and they have more snow, but still its been over a week since the last snow fall. anyways hate to tell you the bad news but just an fyi

You guys hit it wrong, Jackson was sweet last week! I haven't skied Targhee in a long time, but when you go to Jackson just ski the Thunder and Sublette quads, you should be able to spot most of the good stuff from there. Don't really bother with the rest of the mountain unless you're going to the top to hit Corbet's or you're a pansy.

The problem with skiing the Hobacks now is that you have 5 lift rides back to the top of the mountain when you're done. It's a good run for the end of the day, but lapping it wouldn't be very much fun.
