yeah, so everyone is always saying what skis are really good, but just out of curiousity, what skis have bad reputations and what skis do you not like to ride?
I think the Fugatives arent that great. I have three friends with them and they all have had delaming problems and the edges started to rip out on two of them and they skied them about 6 times on minimal rails
Amen. The foam core on the sollys does NOT make them bad, it had its pros and cons like anything else, personal preference. Obviously last years invaders suck, this years are fine so far. The old TM as mentioned have edge issues, and thats all i can think of that one should stay clear of.
all u nigs on here gonna get all sad that i say PEs suck? I realize that tons of people have these skis...im just sayin from my experience, they ski like dead pieces of shit. Im a fan of the rest of the k2 line tho
fujis suck. old dynastar edges are weak. and last years invaders had some major issues. oh yeah, and PE's do suck, they're heavy, they're damp and not responsive, and little pop. additionally armada edges need to be improved, they seem to crack and rip out fairly easy for a ski that's supposed to be all badass, i'd say their edge life is average.
But that should appear in performance. You are still paying a couple hundred bucks and they are breaking. I would unerstand you saying this about people saying they dont have pop or dont carve well or things about performance, but if you are charging a couple hundred dollars for anything it should last more than a couple weeks!
Yeah my gold chronics made by "Budget ass Line" are fucking bombproof. I beat the hell out of then and they still in great shape. They rip everywhere and a really fun. I also have a pair of old Mike Nick Pro's (the ones with the red bases) and even those are still in good shape. If you think the quality of Line skis sucks, you suck.
