Stop breathing in your sleep?

I was sleeping last night and for some reason I just stopped breathing and I struggled hard to breath and it just wouldn't work for about 10 seconds. Then It just kicked in and i fell asleep again, this happen to any of you?

Ya, we have a family friend who needed to be brought to the hospital almost regularly until they found a corticosteroid that helped a bit.

one time my mom woke up and couldnt breath. we had to take her to the hospital.
my manager at work told me she used to not breath sometimes in her sleep but would never wake up.

wow i get that too but i never realised it was actually something. like ill be sleeping and then ill have a dream where im lying in my bed and ill feel like something invisable is strangling me and my neck will seize up and get extremely tight and when i wake up i have an insane cramp in my neck and am gasping for air. it ALWAYS happens when i wake up randomly at like 3 and cant get back to sleep, tossing and turning, until like 630-7. then ill have that dream...

i've never got that, but one time when i was really high while laying in my bed, i was thinking fuck, what if I just totally forgot "how" to breath, was kind of scary to think about, but breathing just seems like it just happens naturally, dont have to think about it to do it.

Yea that's called Sleep Apnea, as they said. My old world religions teacher has it so she sleeps hooked up to a device that goes off when she stops breathing and stuff. it's pretty serious cause sometimes the people don't wake up and die.

yea my aunt apparently has sleep apnea too and she used to sleep with one of those. she stopped because she kept waking up in the middle of the night cause it made her face very cold and she couldnt sleep cause of it
