and just so you know the chance in which scientist beleive life formed in our solar system is like one in some multiple billion number, so if you follow that that means there would still theoretically only be a few other solar systems with life, and it is even very possible that there is no life. But this is irrelevant for the post it doesnt matter its a rhetorical question.
in our solar system alone there are multiple planet/moons that could have sustained life at one point in time. life doesn't have to be intellegent to live. i understand your concept of the earth just just going poof. but you have to think of how vast the universe is and that it is impossible not to have life somewhere else in it, intellegent or not. even with the chances being so low the universe is big enough that it doesn't seem far fetched at all.
not really. if you really look at the probability of carbon based molecules forming and then having the right conditions to form life, it doesn't seem all that out of the question.
And if the earth did just dissapear one day, over a nuclear war or just a huge asteroid hits earth and everything dies, what changes did us earthlings really make for the universe before our end?
We stuck a flag on our only moon and sent out a few exploring probes beyond this comparatively small solar system.
don't have to be. i am not. just think of how big the universe is and then think of the probablitlities of there acctually being carbon based life froms somewhere else out there. its totally logical. i think believeing we are the only ones in the entire universe is a bit.... conceeded
that would be crazy cause it would just be a huge nothingness until somewhere a new earth is formed that can sustain life. but what about this....what if we actually did find life somewhere?? would we try to take over? or would we be chill? would a few of us try to get there? would we send a colony there to reproduce on the spaceship so eventually somebody would reach the destination? but then what if the calculations were fucked up and they just ended up floating in space till they all died?? meh nvm ive gone on too long.
ya its kind of weird and depressing to think about. I guess it could be compared to when people ask if a tree falls in the woods would there be a sound (the philosophical answer to all your idiots out there is no, becuase there is no one toi interpret this sound, no mind to process it). So from that view if the earth was destroyed for whatever reason and there was no other life the universe essentially would cease to exist. But it would still be there and time and planets and galaxies would just be. Its really fucked up. Its all a dream. damn sometimes i wonder,.
i dont think that you quite understand, thats why im calling you a retard. Your missing the point and for that im saying that your a fucking dumbass. Yes i know squirels can hear.
